Puerto Rico Horseback Riding Tours

Whether you’re looking for a romantic day on the beach or an adventure for the whole family, horseback riding in Puerto Rico is one of the most unforgettable experiences you can have. Puerto Ricans are known for their love of horses (it’s not unusual to see a local riding bareback on the side of the road) and the Puerto Rican paso fino is renowned for it’s smooth gait and sturdy disposition. Pair that with spectacular scenery, a friendly guide and the fresh ocean air and you’ve got a winning Puerto Rico adventure!

Hi Milagros – there are two tours, 9 am and 4 pm. I usually prefer the am tour because there is less chance of rain. Feel free to call us any time to book. thank you!

Hi guys – if you’re more experienced we usually recommend a private tour so you can ride as fast as you want with no worries. If you have a lot of experience, it’s worth it to get a little more freedom. Privates are $75 per person for 2 hours and you can pick your times. Let us know what you’d like to do – thanks!

My boyfriend and i will be coming to Puerto Rico in February, we are both very experienced riders and know our way around horses, do you offer private rides and if so how much are they?

          • Posted by RinconVacations| August 1, 2012 |

We can certainly arrange for a private tour for you so that they can tailor it to your experience. Let us know when you would like to book it – if you book about a week in advance, that would be perfect for that time of year. Thanks!

It’s a group of six. We have no experience, can we still ride the horses?

Hi Sonia, Of course! These horses are very calm and well trained, they are made to ride for people who are beginners. Your group should be fine. Please contact us via email or phone if you would like to book. Thanks!

My wife is disabled but walks with a cane. Would you be able to help her enjoy the ride of her native Puerto Rico. Nothing full gallop but a leisurely ride? We will be in PR from April 5 to April 16.

Hi John, Of course. If she has the mobility to walk with a cane I think she would be fine in the saddle. We can speak to the horseback guide ahead of time and make sure they are aware of the situation so that they can pick the best horse. Call us any time and we can go over all of your options – thanks!

Hi, which one of the tours goes to the cave that is pictured in your album? If it is only my boyfriend and I, can we still do the private tour for $75? Also, we will be staying at the Conrad, do you have transporation, if not how many miles away are you? Thank you!

My friend and I will be in Puerto Rico from 9/25 to 10/2. We both love to ride and have experience. We would like to take a private ride. When do we make reservations, cost and how long can we ride? Interested in riding on the beach and in the forest area. Thank you.
