Mountain biking in Puerto Rico is a great way to challenge yourself physically while enjoying the gorgeous terrain and unmatched ocean views of the Western coast. The areas in Rincon around the lighthouse offer a variety of biking options for any skill level. From scenic coastal rides to heart-pumping single track, there’s a ride to suit every member of your group.  When the 2010 Caribbean Games were hosted in Puerto Rico they chose the lighthouse are near Rincon PR for the mountain biking competition and each year Rincon hosts numerous bike races, BMX and mountain biking in this area.

hi – I am staying at Ann Wigmore institute Jan 29-Feb 4. I understand that we have a daily break from about 12-4. Any chance for a mountain bike tour during that time period? Thanks DB

Also, We don’t start until about 3 on Jan 29 (although I arrive at 1 am that morning, so would not want to start much before 11 am). Thanks

Hey – it depends on how serious you are and how important to have the specific bike you want. There are some fun trails behind El Faro and there are places to rent bikes, but you will probably not have as large of a selection as you might be used to. Let us know if we can help – thanks!

My husband and I will be there the week of 4/22 and staying in Isabella. We would like to do the tour mentioned above. We are staying at Villa Montana in Isabella. Tuesday morning would be good if possible. Please send info on your location and details. Are there water bottle cages on your bikes and storage racks?

Hello, will be in Rincon this Sunday and Monday. I am looking for one or 2 bikes to rent for my nephew and a friend. I know the trails near the lighthouse, and will be bringing my bike so I don’t need the tour, just 1 or 2 rental mtn bikes for one of the 2 days.

Do you rent mountain bikes without the tour? I will be in Rincon tomorrow and Monday and may need 2-3 bikes to rent

Am staying in San Juan and was curious how far from there you are.
Would love to hook up for a tour! Please email me and let me know my
options. Will be there from Dec. 13th to 19th. Monday and Tuesday are my best days for opportunity to ride I think. Am also a kayaker if you can hook me up. Zip lines last choice.
