Rincon is located on the upper Northwest corner of Puerto Rico in the area known as the Porta del Sol, approximately 2.5 – 3 hours driving time from the capital city of San Juan.
Rincon is easily accessed off of major highways which makes visiting a breeze, yet set back enough to retain it’s signature secluded, small-town vibe.

Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan is a full-service International Airport serving many major metropolitan destinations in the United States and around the world. Rincon is located approximately 2.5 – 3 hours driving time from San Juan.
Cape Air offers an affordable commuter flight from San Juan to the Eugenio Maria De Hostos Airport in Mayaguez (MAZ) or the Mercedita Regional Airport (PSE) in Ponce.
MAZ Airport is located approximately 20 minutes driving time from Rincon.
Mercedita Regional Airport (PSE) in Ponce is located approximately 2 hours driving time from Rincon and also has non-stop service from several North American destinations.

With limited public transportation, Puerto Rico is best seen from behind the wheel of your own private car rental. If this is not possible, private shuttles from any of the airports can be booked.
Most popular car rental companies both offer locations at the San Juan Airport that are open 24 hours, and the Aguadilla (BQN) Puerto Rico Airport that are open when flights are scheduled to arrive. Thrifty Car Rental offers a location in Añasco/Mayaguez which is only about 20 minutes from Rincon. This makes returns, pick-ups, changes in drivers, car exchanges or handling any necessary issues quick and easy. Shopping online for a car rental is easy, Priceline offering discounts.
